Crazy Wedding Weekend

Ok, first, I totally forgot how expensive the commitment is to be a Maid of Honor. Don't get me wrong, I was honored to be one, but holy crap, $500.00 later, I am done.
Now the wedding is over and I can move on with the rest of my summer.
Kinda of ironic that the maid of honor finalizes her divorce a week previous, then gets to make make a speech about how incredibly happy I am to see my friends get married. Now hold on, I am not that bitter. I am very excited for them, only because I think they will really be able to do it. I mean do the 30, 40 to 50 years of marriage. But needless to say, I did give a great speech which left a couple people crying, and lots of compliments afterwards. If Libby's knows anything about me, she knows that I will go all the way when I plan anything for friend. I refuse to do anything half-assed, like some certain people did at my wedding. (thanks libby). Anyway.
Gerber daisy's were the flowers, and to be honest, they were perfect. I would highly recommend them. This was also my first outside wedding, and I can't imagine anything more romantic. She planned this perfectly. The food, cake, music was all too much. I cried, damn weddings. They always do that to me.
So I invited Dan to the wedding. He was my "date".
So is it me, but isn't the first fast dance a little uncomfortable to do? You don't know how he will dance, and you just hope that you will luck out and dance the night away still lusting over each other. Well Dan did ok. He can dance a little bit. But we did have fun.
I think a part of me, still likes bad boys. But now I know that I will go no where with a bad boy, but to a broken heart. Dan is a really nice guy, sometimes a little thick skulled sometimes, but nice. And he makes me laugh alot! Which is a must in a relationship.

Cocolalla Lake

Dan and I headed out to our friends cabin on Cocolalla Lake near Sandpoint. I haven't been there since I was a kid. We had a great time. Of course, I had a hard time not snuggling with Dan. I am pretty crazy about this guy. I catch myself just staring at him.
There was a boat out there that our friend Brent owns, so we got some tubing and knee boarding in. It seems Dan is good at alot of things. I am waiting to see him water ski, that should be on labor day. We are heading out to his family property on Labor Day. His family property is located on Pend Orielle river. I always have fun. Plus my friend machelle is part of the family so her and her husband Jim are usually out there also.
So back to the story, on Saturday we left the cabin to go to a wedding in CDA. It was a nice wedding. I always get mushy at weddings. They can be so romantic. And Dan of course, was a gentleman. We left the wedding about 5:00pm on Saturday and headed to his Aunt's house for her birthday party. I got a little tipsy there, they had these jello shots that were so strong, I ended up doing 4 of those and then a glass or two of champayne. My favorite! So after that we headed back to the cabin and sat around the campfire.
Sunday we woke up had breakfast and then headed out to my sister's birthday party at Post Falls park/beach. It was fun. Saw alot of people I played softball with. We left around 2:00pm and went to my place. *wink*
So I think I am at my peak of sexuality. I am wanting sex all the time. It helps that Dan is pretty good at everything, if you know what I mean. So I started thinking about it, and we ended up having sex friday night, saturday afternoon, saturday night, and then Sunday afternoon at my place. Finally some changes to my life ~

August 19th, 2005 -

As of today, I am officially divorced. I can't believe it. Don't get me wrong, for the last year in my mind I have been divorced, but now the paperwork and the issues with my babygirl's parenting plan is done. The end result turned out to be, I am the primary parent, and Scott will see her every other weekend and also a couple hours on Wednesday nights. Just what I was hoping for.

Saw Christina outside the courthouse. She was on her way to make a payment on her speeding ticket, so she got the news first. And to top it off it is also my sister's birthday, and Anthony and Jessica's wedding anniversary (close friends of ours). So this day will be remembered always.

So it has been awhile since I have wrote, so I thought I would fill you in on what has been going on with me. Work has been crazy, I have just gotten back from Chicago a week or so ago for work. Boy was that fun. Minus the heat, I love it there. The skyscrapers, the food, and the music. It was a sight to see. The last day I was there was 95 degrees with 95% humidity. I thought I was going to die. I can handle the hottest days here in my hometown, but that one day in Chicago almost put me over the edge. I was riding in a cab to the airport on that day and I had to make the cab driver pull over, because I thought I was going to lose my cookies in his car. And get this! He had no air conditioning. What the hell!!!!!!!! I was so pissed I had to pay for this ride to hell. But anyway I got home safe and sound.
I have been busy with my girlfriend Libby's wedding. It is scheduled on the 27th of August. We had the Bach party on the 13th, which was a awesome night. Libby definitely had a great time. I called her the next day at 11:00am and she was still in bed recovering. Looks like I did my job!!

On another note, I have been seeing someone new for about 3 months now. His name is Dan. You will see his picture down below. He is very sweet and lots of fun. He is always planning something to do, other then going to the bar like my ex was like. We go camping quite a bit to his property and also to other places. So far so good. It seems to be working with me, usually I point out something that disturbs me horribly, and I call the relationship quits, or it just doesn't feel right. But everything has been going great so far. It is nice to be with a nice guy. He gave me 3 roses on Sunday for the 3 month mark we had hit. I blushed of course, I thought it was so sweet. Very unexpected. I have to also mention that he is incredible with Keira. And Keira just adores him. I didn't realize I would get to that age when I see a man with a child it would be a huge turn on to me. I am loving it!!!

PS - if you are wondering about the DUI, That chapter of my life has been over for quite awhile. I have my license back and good riddance to that!!!
