Ok, so I am a member! A close friend of mine, Mara started it. I think it is a great idea. I am not much of a singer, well, unless alchohol gives me that ego boost I need!
Butwhat is great is that it gets us all together once a month at a different place. Our first get together was Friday night, the 23rd. So here is the website http://karaoke.meetup.com/178/

The holidays are here and gone... well almost.

Ok, so I am single this year for the holidays. As much as I was dreading it, it actually wasn't that bad. I am realizing that there are benefits to being single. You know the ones that you forget. Like the freedom to do what ever I want and to choose where I want to go for the holidays.
No obligations to any other family but mine. The rules are up to me. I can be selfish and just spend it all with my family and my little girl.

Thru the month, I have fell apart every now and then, you know get lonely and feel that you are missing out. But I am ok. I am thankful for friends and my little girl.

Don't get me wrong I am ready to meet that someone special. But I am also patient enough to know that it will happen someday, but maybe not tomorrow.

My little girl sure keeps me smiling. She reminds me that she feels complete with just me around, so what's the deal?? I have no idea what I would be with out her. She is my rock.

On another note, I am open for a new kiss for my new year! We will see!
